Biosketch
Dr. Cannon is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and an Associate Physician in the Cardiovascular Division at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. He is a senior investigator of the Thrombolysis in Myocardial Infarction (TIMI) Study Group, leading trials such as TACTICS-TIMI 18, PROVE IT-TIMI 22, and CLARITY-TIMI 28.
He earned his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City, and after completing his residency in Internal Medicine at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, he was a Cardiovascular Fellow in Medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital.
