Biosketch
David Susman is a licensed clinical psychologist and is Psychology Services Coordinator and Director of The Recovery Mall rehabilitation program at Eastern State Hospital in Lexington KY He is a Clinical Associate Professor in Psychology and Psychiatry at the University of Kentucky where he serves as Director of the Harris Psychological Services Center a training clinic for doctoral students in clinical psychology He has provided services to adults with serious mental illness and substance abuse issues for over 20 years As a Past President of the Kentucky Psychological Association KPA and a member of the American Psychological Association APA and the National Alliance on Mental Illness NAMI he has been active in mental health advocacy initiatives at the state and Federal levels He is a member of the statewide steering committee for Health Literacy Kentucky
